So thrilled to be part of Greenspeares!

Back in February this year I was fortunate to meet Ally Brownsword-Matthews, the owner of Greenspeares in Chelsea, London. I was thrilled that Ally was instantly taken by my lime VPleat print and it was chosen for the feature wall on the ground floor of the restaurant. The print fitted in perfectly with the Greenspeares name, colour and philosophy.

In the early days of planning the interior scheme there were ideas about creating a living wall in the greenhouse downstairs. Due to technical complications it was decided not to pursue this, but instead use my ‘living wall’ print on the backs of the seats and introduce planting in other ways. I was doubly pleased!

Last week was the soft launch for the restaurant, where family and friends were invited to put staff to the test and to celebrate the success of Ally’s vision. The restaurant opens to the public on Monday 13 November, with opening hours of 7am-6pm. Greenspeares sells itself as ‘a very simple idea that food should both taste good and do you good’. Having tested the menu I can definitely vouch for the fact that everything I tried tasted amazing!

I feel very honoured to have worked on such a fantastic project and for such a lovely client. Let’s hope the brand will grow!
