Applications for new seam members are taken each year in March and October, focussing on contemporary design in a textiles discipline.

This March we welcomed Anna Gravelle and Llio James to the collective.

Anna designs “luxurious contemporary fabrics for interiors using printed pattern and the forgotten technique of tufting”.

Having completed her MA at Bath Spa University last year, Anna is now part of this year’s South West cohort for the Craft Council’s Hothouse scheme.

Llio James is a weaver, currently working on the final module of her MA at Bath Spa University.  Her work will be on show at New Designer’s in London during June, and the MA show will take place in September this year.
