Angie Parker is a weaver, designer, colourist and collector of looms.

Her rugs and textiles are expertly hand-woven using traditional techniques such as Krokbragd. She combines this with an instinctive and daring approach to colour. Her expertise in the execution of the traditional Scandinavian techniques is the subject of her published book ‘KROKBRAGD Contemporary Weaving with Colour’ from The Crowood Press. The creative process of importing a contemporary element to the time-honoured techniques of weaving, and the responses from the viewer most excite her.

Angie hand weaves one-off rugs and textiles to commission from her Bristol studio and creates small batch textile production runs with other partners. She also teaches weaving both in person and online.
